RACE INFORMATION
Team T-Shirt and Packet Pick-Up:
Packet pickup will be at the MBSEF office again like last year. Everything will be ready for pick up on Wednesday, May 17th. You can swing by between 2 pm – 5 pm between Wednesday and Thursday. Please see schedule below. This will all happen at the MBSEF office which is 2765 NW Lolo Dr., Bend, OR 97703. Only 1 person needs to get the team shirts and packet.
Wednesday, May 17th 2 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Thursday, May 18th 2 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
Bib Numbers: (DAY OF RACE)
Each member of the team will need to wear their bib number on the front of their shirt with the included safety pins.
Before you start: (DAY OF RACE) Seventh Mountain Resort
Please note that the race has a new venue. The Seventh Mountain Resort. Only park in designated Kid’s Mini PPP Parking Spots please.
The Team must check in 15 minutes before the start of their heat. Look for the Parent Check In-MBSEF Tent in the Seventh Mountain Resort. Start times for each team will be emailed a week before the race to the parent captain.
Once checked in, the volunteers will tell the team where to line up.
Race Overview:
All 6 team members will begin the race with a fun challenge where they all have to work together. Once that is complete, they will all have to work together to get to the obstacle course. After everyone has completed the obstacle course, one member will sprint around the obstacle course to finish it off!
After their heat is finished, they will be directed to the Awards Area. There will be many booths with fun activities for families to do and food vendors as well. Make a whole day of it!
Obstacle Course:
We will have 12 obstacles that will be appropriate for anyone in grades K-5th
Every year, we add new obstacles to make it fresh and exciting. Teams of 6 kids will compete against 5 other teams that are in the same category.
Categories are K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd, & 4th-5th. All Girls, All Boys or Coed.
The race will begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish by 4:00 p.m.
