About Us

For nearly a century, what began as the Skyliners Ski Club in Bend has grown into the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF), a year-round nonprofit that develops young mountain athletes in Alpine, Nordic, Freeride, and Cycling sports. We serve hundreds of Central Oregon youth every year, from developing athletes to national competitors.

At MBSEF we build the whole athlete. We care about who our athletes become as much as how they perform. Our goal is to develop young adults who chase big goals and carry what they learn with us into the rest of their lives.

Our aim for the next hundred years is simple. We want MBSEF to be the premier place in the West for young mountain athletes to develop. We can’t get there alone, and we don’t want to. Building this future depends on the support of a community of coaches, families, and businesses who believe in this vision with us.
