What is the selco mini PPP?

When it started, the Mini PPP was much like it is today, with an obstacle course and relay that brought groups of friends together to work as a team and successfully navigate challenging features.   Over the years, the Mini PPP has evolved to include more participants and a new format. Because the our most recent version doesn’t include any skiing, biking or paddling, we like to think of the Mini PPP as “Playful Peers Persevere!”  No matter the version, this event continues to be a fantastic way to get younger athletes involved in all the excitement that is “PPP” while sustaining a long-time community tradition.

Located at the Inn of the Seventh Mountain Resort

• $192 per team (includes 6 race t-shirts and prizes)
• Each team must have one parent to act as coordinator.
• Our event size is limited to 175 teams and we will fill, so don’t delay!
• On April 13th prices increase to $222 per team.
• Registration closes on May 3rd.

Race Day is May 17th 

• Races will start at 9:00 am with waves running throughout the day.
• Waves will run from oldest in the morning to youngest in the afternoon.
• All team members will receive a T shirt, bib numbers and ribbons.
• All team members must be in the same age group.  If not, then the whole team is in age group of oldest member.
• We will email start times after registration closes on May 3rd. Please remember that special requests and changes to registration after close will delay start time communication.

Event Description

• Teams of 6 kids (Kinder – 5th) will begin with a team challenge.
• Teams are organized by grade level and gender, with a mixed gender option. Some single gender teams may be placed in a wave with mixed gender teams due to timing and space constraints. 
• Teams work together as a group through the challenge before starting the obstacle course.
• All members will get to complete the obstacle course and run a lap.  
• This is a great spectator event!
• Mini PPP Sponsors and family-oriented vendors will be staged on the ice-rink and ready to entertain racers and engage their families.
