Hydration & Food Stations

There will be “Support Stations” providing water and food to racers at the following exchanges: Nordic-to-Bike, Bike-to-Run, and Run-to-Paddle. Though we do our best to anticipate the needs of racers and stock these stations accordingly, we recommend that racers carry their own water and fuel when possible, or have their teammates and support people provide water and fuel as needed.

Hydration Stations on Course

There are four Hydration Stations on the Run Course. There will also be a Hydration Station in the Paddle-to-Sprint Transition Zone. Please help our volunteers keep the course clean by disposing your cups in designated trash cans.

Volunteer Hamm Radio Team

PPP is lucky to have the ongoing support of volunteer Hamm radio operators on our Bike Course. There is about one operator for every mile of the course. If there is a medical emergency on the course, the Hamm radio team is there to help call for 911. Of course, if you are carrying your own cell phone and have service while on the course, making the call yourself is the fastest way to receive services, but they are a great back-up if you need help while on the bike course.

Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol

Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol will be the first responders to incidents on Mt. Bachelor courses. There will also be one or two volunteer ski patrollers will be available at each exchange zones for any first aid needed.

Adventure Medics

In addition to Mt. Bachelor Ski Patrol support, MBSEF has contracted Adventure Medics to provide professional medical support on various sections of the course. There will be three staff roaming on course ensuring participant safety.
